Pharmaceutics is concerned with strategies
by which biological active compounds are presented to
a body so as to elicit an optimal response. The under
graduate program (B. Pharm) trains students in Pharmaceutical
Technology, Pharmaceutical dosage forms. In course work,
emphasis is given to fundamentals underlying these subject
areas.

Pharmacognosy is specific discipline
which deals with versatile studies of the drugs and
auxiliary substances of biological origin (Plants, Animals
& Minerals). This subject provides information about
procedure used in manufacturing of material of natural
origin, extraction, isolation and purification of medicinal
substances and their quality control.
